I apologize for the lack of posts in the past two weeks, things have been very hectic and seem to be moving at a blinding pace!
To get everyone caught up, I spent a week and a half in lovely (but trashy) Tampa Bay, Florida for required work training. Overall it was a great experience, as I got to meet so many great and diverse people, but a week and a half anywhere is a long time to be away from home ( And yes, Dallas is now starting to feel more and more like home everyday).
Since returning home from training I have spent my time getting reacquainted with the city and have had the task of getting caught up on projects.I am very excited to being working on my assigned engagements and put everything that I learned during training to use.
Also, the official move in date ( May 27) is drawing nearer and the excitement is beginning to build. Things will be much easier once I get settled into a place that I can call my own and in an area much closer to downtown and the office. To add to the new move excitement, my family will be visiting during the same weekend. I cannot tell you how excited I am to see RDW,HAW and KLB.
I promise to do a much better job of posting regularly in the future and I hope that I have some exciting news to share with you in future posts.
