A place to call home

Yesterday, in all of the excitement over Tex-Mex, I forgot to inform everyone that BW and myself signed a lease in Uptown (Turtle Creek).

We were very lucky in having a realtor who quickly found apartments that met our list of criteria. After walking through several units we were able to narrow down two possible viable choices.

In the end, it came down to location, square footage and a long list of amenities that most other complexes were unable to match. The apartment we will be moving into is around 1200 square feet and boasts nice finishings and a pleasant skyline view. Everything else the complex had to offer was only a plus.

I am extremely excited to begin moving into my first place in Dallas. BW and I are currently sharing a 550 square foot studio, so needless to say, we are counting down the days until we can spread our wings a little more.
